The Central Alabama
Independent Soccer League (formerly Birmingham Southeastern Soccer League)
consists of autonomous soccer programs of various communities and organizations,
joined for the purpose of promoting soccer play for players ages 4 to 40+. The
rules are familiar (FIFA/USSF), with any exceptions delineated by our Rules &
Regulations (see link above) CAISL teams play 5 a side for Under-6, 9 aside for Under-7
through Under-10, and 11 a side for Under-12 and
older. Since 2004, CAISL has sponsored several Adult divisions as well.
CAISL is a truly independent, self-governed soccer
league... with great benefits and lower cost... where every club has voice. The
Central Alabama Independent Soccer League also boasts its own referee
association
-well trained, experienced, and certified.
